This blog is about this new file system for linx - PFS - Pooled Storage File System. This project started as a Final Year project for us.

We make up the team INODZ. We are Final year (2005 - 2009) batch of Information Technology, Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore. We are guided by Mr. Adi Narayanan of our department.

Special thanks to Mr. Harikrishnan, Inmage Pvt.Ltd, Hyderabad for helping us throughout.

This is our First Kernel programming project. We are planning to sourceforge it as soon as we get settled with one stable code.

Going thro ZFS

ZFS is seriously a great work of open solaris. After a long time, I'm understanding the arch of ZFS. ZFS is a file system that is built upon ZPOOLS. By going through the zfs-on-fuse.blogspot.com, i got to know that porting zpool is not tat difficult job. still as a beginner, i would find it difficult. I would keep things posted... bye.. :)
